International Leprosy Congress 2025

What is the International Leprosy Congress?

Held every three years, the International Leprosy Congress (ILC) is a major global gathering of researchers, programme leaders, policymakers, and advocates working to end leprosy and its consequences. It offers a vital platform for sharing the latest insights, evidence, and best practices from across the leprosy and global health sectors.

The Leprosy Mission (TLM) has a strong presence at each ILC, with team members contributing through both oral presentations and poster sessions. The previous Congress was hosted in India in 2022, and we’re excited to once again participate in ILC 2025, continuing to amplify our work and learn from others in the field.

When and where is ILC 2025?

ILC 2025 is taking place at Bali Dua Nusa Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia, from 7-9 July.

What is the theme for ILC 2025?

The theme for ILC 2025 is Towards a World with Zero Leprosy. The organisers have published a scientific programme for attendees.

How is TLM contributing to ILC 2025?

As an official partner of the International Leprosy Congress (ILC) 2025, The Leprosy Mission (TLM) will be represented by a global team of staff attending from across our fellowship. Many of our colleagues will be sharing their expertise through oral presentations and poster sessions.

You’ll also find us at the ILC 2025 Exhibition Centre, where our booth will showcase the impact of our grassroots programmes and provide opportunities to connect with our team and learn more about our mission to defeat leprosy.
