Across two deep-dive articles, we have captured how The Leprosy Mission's scientists have changed the world.
In 1874, there was no cure for leprosy and we did not understand how the disease was transmitted. We could not correct impairments through surgery and physiotherapy and we could not prevent the disease.
Today, we are lightyears ahead and it is in no small part thanks to our scientists and researchers.
