The lure of live football draws in plenty of young people from the neighbourhood, helping them overcome their fear of leprosy.
Staffed by former CBR workers and children of leprosy affected parents, the tea shop offers Myanmar style sweet tea and coffee, a well as a range of snacks. As a hospital owned project, the tea shop is also a health promoting place, providing information on healthy living and about general health issues. For the leprosy affected people in the surrounding areas, the Agape Tea House at last provides a place for a stigma-free cup of tea.
