Rukmini lives in Poladpur, east India, with her 17 year-old-son Pinto.
Her hands are severely damaged due to leprosy and she is receiving ongoing treatment at one of TLM’s hospitals.
But treating the effects of the disease is not enough – leprosy and poverty go hand-in-hand.
When Rukmini’s house started to leak when it rained, TLM stepped in and provided a low-cost home for her and her son.

Now she can relax – and she is so thankful for TLM’s help.
