There is an exquisite range of handicrafts, gifts, greeting cards and books. Many have been handmade by people affected by leprosy and other disabilities. Through sales of these products, livelihoods can be sustained for people who would otherwise struggle to find employment. Improved social and economic status provides dignity and self-worth to people whose lives have been devastated by the effects of leprosy.
