A new partnership for addressing disability issues in Myanmar
Since Cyclone Nargis in May 2008, The Leprosy Mission (TLM) and other NGOs working in Myanmar (formerly Burma) are working to address the need for specialist disability assistance through a number of projects. They recognise that a focus on disability is vital when tackling the problems of poverty and leprosy.
